Hi, I’m Madeline Martin, a USA Today bestselling author of historical romance and historical fiction novels with strong heroines and tons of high-action plot twists! My books have finaled in the Holt Medallion award and National Excellence in Romance Fiction Award. I’m represented by Laura Bradford.
I live in sunny Florida with Mr. Awesome (a man who truly deserves such a great name) and two wonderfully magical girls, known collectively as “the minions.”
I enjoy working out (really to support my love of Nutella and wine), traveling and doing fun kid-like things with the minions.
One of my favorite parts about writing is researching all the things that go into my books. While all of my books have been based in England or Scotland, I have written across many time periods, from medieval to the seventeenth century to the Regency and now World War II with my debut historical fiction. Clearly, I love history!

For my Borderland Ladies and Borderland Rebels series, I learned so much about the conflict between England and Scotland in the fourteenth century that I couldn’t confine it solely to my books.
