History, Books, and Wine Runs a Half-Marathon!

History, Books and Wine will run a half marathon!

registrationRunning a half marathon has been on my bucket list for a long time. After discovering it was a bucket list item for my History, Books and Wine podcast co-hosts Lori Ann Bailey and Eliza Knight as well, we’ve decided to start training for next year’s Disney Princess Half Marathon. Yes, it is June and the run isn’t until February 2020, but we’re no longer spring chickens and things break, tear, get overused easily LOL. We’re giving ourselves plenty of training time and are SO looking forward to the race! If you want to follow our progress, check out #HistRomRun on social media – it’s slow, but it’s forward going still. We’re going to do this!

Here I am with Eliza Knight and Lori Ann Bailey–we definitely won’t look as nice as this after the race, LOL!

fireworksAnd this month on the History, Books and Wine podcast, we’re discussing strong women in history with a special 4th of July episode coming up about strong women in American history! Make sure you’re catching all the latest episodes to learn interesting tidbits in history and get a great suggestion for your next wine pairing.
